Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone has become biggest hit for Hindi films ever in India. The movie has collected Rs.452.75 crores Nett. gross in domestic markets. No other Hindi film did that business while Dangal collected Rs.1125 crores from China to make it biggest hit from India, ever. Pathaan without China market collected Rs.880 crores gross Worldwide, crossing Dangal’s Rs.718 crores (without China). Baahubali 2 has collected Rs.1750-1800 crores gross, Worldwide and remains second highest grosser ever behind Dangal. Pathaan crossed Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Secret Superstar, PK to become second biggest Bollywood Worldwide grosser, including China markets but movie did not open there and may not release, too.
Shah Rukh Khan has come back with a massive hit that crossed KGF Chapter 2 Hindi Nett. gross in India and all-time original language Bollywood highest grossers, Worldwide (excluding China). Pathaan at second place for All-Time highest Hindi language Nett. gross with Rs.436.75 crores and it collected Rs.16 crores from Tamil and Telugu versions. Baahubali 2 stands on top in Hindi Nett. gross with Rs.511 crores Nett.gross. Few trade experts predict that Pathaan has a good chance of crossing or touching Rs.500 crores Nett. gross but third weekend, that is, from 11th February – 13th February, will determine its chances of crossing Baahubali 2.
The movie has collected Rs.200 crores Nett. gross from PVR (Rs.91.1 cr), Inox (Rs.71.7 cr) and Cinepolis (Rs.39.8 cr) multiplex chains. Pathaan also crossed 2.5 crores Footfalls in India. The movie is expected to cross Rs.1000 crores gross Worldwide and become the first Hindi language film to attain that mark, Worldwide. Just for the record, Dangal collected Rs.1125 crores just from China and Pathaan Rs.1000 crores gross will be without China. It has set ALL-TIME GROSS collections in other Overseas markets like USA, Canada, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and for the first time a Hindi film touched 1 Million mark in New Zealand and Germany. Saudi Arabia market opened with Pathaan for Hindi films.
