Paradha

The upcoming Telugu film Paradha by Praveen Kandregula starring Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran, Sangeetha, and Rag Mayur has confirmed the release date. The makers have officially announced that Paradha will hit theatres on 22 August.

With its teaser and first song already winning hearts, expectations are rising for this film’s unique story and emotional depth. Praveen Kandragula, known for his filmmaking about social issues and women-empowering storytelling, has come up with yet again such an emotional story titled Paradha.

The teaser received a strong response, especially for the actors’ natural performances. Anupama plays a traditional village girl who embarks on a bold journey rooted in culture and values.

The recently released poster has doubled the buzz. It shows Anupama in traditional attire with a deity statue in the background, giving a glimpse of the film’s spiritual and cultural themes.

The film’s first song, ‘Yatra Naryastu’, composed by Gopi Sundar, is also getting a positive response. The lyrics are meaningful, the tune is fresh, and the visuals feature folk dances and traditional arts, adding a unique flavour. The lively tone of the song builds curiosity about the movie.

With its strong female lead, emotional storytelling, and cultural backdrop, Paradha is expected to appeal to all kinds of audiences, focusing on families—especially during the festive Sravana season. With her bold roles in her record, Anupama has already earned a strong fan base, and this role could be another big moment in her career.

The film is produced by Vijay Donkada, Srinivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva.
