OMG or Oh My God discussed about God vs blind belief in God. Now, the movie is getting a sequel. This time OMG 2 is discussing about God protecting the equality. Movie again has Akshay Kumar playing the role of God or God’s servant. OMG 2 is releasing on 11th August, 2023. The team has released the theatrical trailer on 3rd August.
Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautham are playing other lead roles. Akshay Kumar character has been projected as Lord Shiva before and now as Shiv Gan or Shiva’s Follower. OMG 2 talks about a person putting a case on himself. Yami Gautham is playing the role of opposite lawyer against him. The movie has undergone 27 re-edits during Censors. Also, it went into 8 corrections. OMG 2 is still coming out after such alterations. But the buzz for the film is not as huge as makers anticipated. Akshay Kumar did not manage to bring big opening to his recent releases. Major films have lost huge amounts. OMG 2 might not get as big opening as the makers anticipate. Still, if it happens to be a good film, Akshay Kumar will feel a respite after 2 years of flops. Amit Rai directed the film and makers will release more promotional content in coming days.
