OMG has become a huge blockbuster. Akshay Kumar has acted as Lord Krishna in the movie. Paresh Rawal has acted as Kanji Lalji Mehta. Umesh Shukla adapted the movie from Gujarati Stageplay, “Kanji Virrudh Kanji – The Man who Sued God(English)”. OMG has discussed about existence of God and religious practices in his name. Now, a sequel to the film has been announced as OMG 2.
Akshay Kumar will return as God again in this one. He will playing Lord Shiva, this time. After 11 years, the sequel is releasing on 11th August, 2023. Amit Rai has written and directed the movie. Pankaj Tripathi is playing the leading man role like Paresh Rawal. And this time, the leading man will be a believer. OMG 2 discusses about existence of God and problems faced by a believer. Arun Govil will also be seen in the movie as Lord Rama. Yami Gautam will be seen as a lawyer in OMG 2.
Reports suggest that the movie is about Sex Education. OMG 2 will have a huge release worldwide alongside Gadar 2. Akshay Kumar did not have major hits with his recent releases. OMG has become a blockbuster and sequel is expected to be huge. For the same date, the biggest blockbuster Gadar is also coming up with sequel Gadar 2. We have to wait and see, how both sequels will fare about the box office.
