Nikhil Siddhartha has started his career with Happy Days. Post that he faced few good hits and flops. Nikhil Siddhartha has come back strong with good scripts and better films. His script selection has become his identity with audiences, so much so that they trust him to come up with great and different films. Nikhil Siddhartha came up with SPY, recently.
The movie got a huge opening, biggest in his career. But the film failed to sustain the momentum. Nikhil Siddhartha, reportedly, had issues with producer about quality and multi-language release of the film. He asked him to postpone and complete work. But producer has asked him to not intervene and resulted the film on 29th June. The actor apologized about not releasing simultaneously in multi languages in an open letter. Nikhil also apologized about quality.
Nikhil Siddhartha wrote, “Hello , I Genuinely Thank Everyone of you for Thronging the Theatres of SPY and Giving me the Highest Opening of my Career at the Box Office. It gives me immense happiness to know the amount of trust you all have in me. However it pains me to inform you all that The Movie DID NOT have a Proper Multi Language Release across India.”
He continued to apologise about cancelled shows. He promised that post Karthikeya 2, he has plans to release in films in multi-languages and his upcoming 3 will deliver on that. Nikhil Siddhartha continued to write, “Because of Contract/Content Delay Issues which also led to 350 Telugu Premier shows overseas being Cancelled. I apologise to all the Hindi, Kannada , Tamil & Malayalam Audience for this. And promise that after Karthikeya2 it will be our next upcoming 3 films that will be in Theatres in all languages. “Perfectly Finished and released on Time.” I also promise every Telugu movie lover who trusts me that from now on We will never compromise on the quality ,”Whatever be the pressures” and will only make sure a Finished, Checked and Fantastic Product is given to you all.”
Nikhil is working on Swayambhu, The Indan House and another untitled film with Sudheer Varma. The movies have interesting premise and different themes. Well, we hope Nikhil Siddhartha will be content with the content before releasing and deliver the best. Ishwarya Menon has been part of the film, SPY and she expressed her interest in working in Telugu films.
