Nayanthara has become Lady Superstar in Tamil Cinema after 18 years of successful career. She is still going strong and recently, she has been part of mega successful film, Jawan. Nayanthara has crossed 75 films as a lead and her 75th film is Annapoorani. She will be seen as a chef in the film, by the looks of the teaser. Nayanthara shared her Annapoorani teaser on the social media.
On the auspicious occasion of Dusshera, she wanted to share this teaser. The makers have given it tagline – Goddess of Food. Annapurna or Annapoorani is a name given to Goddess Parvathi’s avatar, who makes delicious food. Nayanthara will be playing the role of a chef. Interestingly, another popular female lead from South Indian Cinema, Anushka Shetty, also played role of a chef in her recent outing. Nayanthara is continuously doing films and Anushka has been more than choosy.
This film is written and directed by Nilesh Krishnaa. Jai will be seen playing leading man role alongside Nayanthara. Their pair in Raja Rani has been liked by Telugu audiences too. According to the teaser, Nayanthara character belongs to Brahmin household but she likes to try all delicacies and cusines, including Non-veg. Sathyan Sooryan is handling cinemtography and SS Thaman is composing music. Let’s wait and watch what Nayanthara brings to the table in this interesting film, her 75th.
