Naga Chaitanya hails from Akkineni family. This is nothing new or news. But not many know that his father Nagarjuna Akkineni, Grand Fathers – Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Ramanaidu Daggubati, Uncles – Venkatesh Daggubati and Suresh Babu, younger brother – Akhil Akkineni, all are cricket lovers. Naga Chaitanya doesn’t play like others but has been supportive of his brother. Akhil Akkineni has been captaining Telugu Warriors team in Celebrity Cricket League. But interestingly his Agent team still did not tie-up with any franchise to cash in on IPL fever for promotions. Naga Chaitanya has done it with Custody Game.
Akhil Akkineni is coming up with his Agent on 28th April, 2023. Meanwhile Naga Chaitanya is coming up with his film, Custody on 12th May, 2023. The team led by Venkat Prabhu, director, have been actively doing promotions to build buzz and hype for the film. Naga Chaitanya who used to be rather reserved and media shy, decided to join these new style promotions. The team taking CSK vs SRH game on 21st April, 2023 decided to come up with Custody Game video.
The fun video has Venkat Prabhu supporting CSK as Tamilian. Naga Chaitanya as Hyderabadi and Telugu person extends support to SRH. Both wore their team jerseys and played Mortal Combat video game. As their fight intensifies, Venkat Prabhu brother Premji Amaren talks them out of it. Still, they continue to fight about who will win. Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, Arvind Swamy are playing lead roles in the movie. Movie is releasing in Telugu and Tamil, making it first bilingual for Naga Chaitanya.
