Nag Ashwin has showcased his talent in movies like Yevade Subramanyam and Mahanati. In both the films, he arrested audiences to the big screens. Especially, in Mahanati, Nag Ashwin showcased his exceptional talent to bring past back to life. He has given a fitting tribute to an actress like Savitri, like no one else. Now, Nag Ashwin is busy with the film, Kalki 2898 AD.
The movie has become Talk of the Town, ever since, team released teaser at San Diego Comic Con. Team has announced the release date as 13th January, 2023, long time ago. Nag Ashwin did not confirm the date in his recent interaction. The rumors have been aplenty that the movie has been cut into two parts. And first part will release in May, 2024. Nag Ashwin did confirm the release date but stated that the work is going on.
He stated that there is only small portion of shoot left. Nag Ashwin stated that they are planning to finish the shoot as soon as they can. After that, according to the post production work still to be completed, he will take a decision. Nag Ashwin stated that release date still did not cross his mind. Well, Ashwini Dutt is producing the film as his production house Vyjayanthi Movies 50th year gift. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are playing leading roles in the futuristic sci-fi film. Santosh Narayanan is composing music for the film.
