Mythri Movie Makers running without an office

Mythri Movie Makers

One of Tollywood’s biggest production houses, Mythri Movie Makers, is currently operating without a physical office—something many in the industry find surprising.

Since its launch with Srimanthudu, Mythri has grown into a major force, producing back-to-back hits. From Pushpa: The Rise to multiple upcoming big-budget films with stars like Jr NTR, Prabhas, and Ram Charan, the banner has cemented its place at the top. Despite this success, the team reportedly has no permanent office at the moment.

Until recently, Mythri operated from a large rented house in Jubilee Hills. Interestingly, that house belongs to producer Prashanthi Tipirneni, who is behind banners like Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous. With her own film activities increasing, she reportedly asked the Mythri team to vacate the space to make room for her growing work. As a result, Mythri had to move out.

In the past, the team also used another building for films like Uppena and Sarkaru Vaari Paata. That property, once owned by the family of former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao, is now the residence of actor Varun Tej. The house has since been renovated with high-end interiors.

Currently, Mythri is said to be planning the construction of their own permanent office. However, until that is complete, they will continue operating from home or temporary locations.

With major projects like Ustaad Bhagat Singh and NTR–Prashanth Neel’s action film in the works, the absence of a central workspace has become a hot topic in the industry. For a company of such scale and influence, not having a physical presence has come as a shock to many. However, a new office is expected to be set up soon.
