Smt. Pushpa Arunkumar, mother of Rocking Star Yash, has launched her production house, PA Productions, to nurture fresh talent, drawing inspiration from the legendary producer Parvathamma Rajkumar. Her debut project, Kothalavadi, stars the dynamic Pruthvi Ambaar and is written and directed by emerging filmmaker Sriraj.
The film’s first-look poster, released last month, garnered widespread praise, setting high expectations. Today, the Kothalavadi teaser dropped, offering a thrilling glimpse into its intense world. Packed with mass appeal, the 90-second teaser features stunning visuals by cinematographer Karthik, gripping background music by Abhinandan Kashyap, and a powerful performance by Pruthvi Ambaar, who shines in a rugged, energetic avatar. Director Sriraj promises a raw, rooted, and engaging story.
Named after a village in Karnataka’s Gundlupet Taluk, Kothalavadi was shot on location, using the local dialect for authenticity. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Gopal Deshpande, Rajesh Nataranga, Avinash, Kavya Shaiva, Mansi Sudhir, Raghu Ramanakoppa, and Chethan Gandarva.
PA Productions introduces new musical talent with Vikas Vasishta composing a soulful track and Abhinandan Kashyap delivering a striking background score. Dialogues by Raghu Neenandalli reflect the region’s essence, while Ramishetty Pavan handles editing and Dinesh Ashok designs the film’s compelling posters.
