To fans surprise, Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 is postponed and all set to hit theatres on May 21, 2026. This also coincides with the actor, Mohanlal’s birthday and the makers wants to make it a special release by marking it on the actor’s birthday.

Look back to Drishyam 1 and Drishyam 2
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 1 (2013) starts the story of an ordinary cable operator, Georgekutty played by Mohanlal. This peaceful family gets in trouble when his daughter accidentally comitts a crime defending herself. And the story goes on, how Georgekutty will save his family from the problem and how he manages to escape the situations.
And in the second installment, Drishyam 2, Georgekutty has grown to be a theatre owner, several years later. But the past still haunts him in many ways. And the story goes on how he will handle the situation when the police reopens the closed case out of suspicion.
Now, with the third installment coming in just few weeks, fans are just as eager to see how the story is going to take new twists and turns.
