Mohan Babu is one of the great actors of Telugu Cinema. Since, 2000’s he hasn’t been able to deliver successful films at boxoffice as lead actor. But Mohan Babu has been part of successful films like Yamadonga, Soorari Pottru. His performances from those films have been talked about upon release. The actor is now planning a big project with his son Manchu Vishnu. Mohan Babu announced this at Tirumala.
He stated that Manchu Vishnu is planning a big budget film on the scale of 100 crores. Mohan Babu might be part of the film or he might not be. The film could be Bhakta Kannappa, tale of a devotee of Lord Shiva. It is heard that movie unit is planning to shoot for the movie in New Zealand, in scenic locations. Siddharth Kumar Tewary, director and producer of popular TV series like Radha Krishn, Mahabharat, Porus will direct it say reports. Mohan Babu could do a cameo in the film.
Manchu Vishnu is struggling at the box office currently. He needs a big hit and Bhakta Kannappa will be a huge gamble. Mohan Babu is confident that Manchu Vishnu can pull it off. He did not announce about his any other films. Mohan Babu seems to be happy enjoying his time with his family and grand kids.
