Bholaa Shankar is based on Ajith’s Vedalam and Chiranjeevi agreed to do the remake as the original is not available on OTT. There are some reports stating that Meher Ramesh avoided cringe scenes from the original to better it. Bholaa Shankar is releasing on 11th August and the director clarified about bettering the movie.
Meher Ramesh talking about Bholaa Shankar stated that he loved Vedalam and wanted to make it in Telugu. He said, “I loved Vedalam when watched it in 2015. I admired how the original story by @directorsiva sir showed strong bonding of a brother & sister. A sentiment that reflects with millions of people and wanted to show it our Telugu audience.
