Megastar Chiranjeevi has been one of the most active supporters of actor rights in Indian Cinema. He has been always an undeniable supporter for equal rights to actors of all genders. Women have been facing several issues with male actors looking down upon them. Recently, veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan made vile comments against Trisha in his interview.
He recently acted with Trisha Krishnan in the movie, Leo. During an interview, he stated that he would have loved to act in a rape scene with her. He stated that he anticipated team will give such a scene as he has been known for such roles in his films. He expressed disappointment that team did not even give him a scene with her.
Trisha expressed her disgust about these vile comments and called Mansoor, a misogynst. She acquired support immediately from director Lokesh Kanagaraj and many male and female actors from Tamil Cinema. Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi has extended his support on to Trisha, on social media.

He wrote on X, previously Twitter, that he found Mansoor Ali Khan distasteful and disgusting. He wrote, “My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an Artiste but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion. I stand with @trishtrashers and every woman who has to be subject to such horrid comments.”
Trisha thanked Chiranjeevi for his support in this issue. Mansoor Ali Khan has been asked by Nadigar Sangam to immediately apologise unconditionally to Trisha and female actors. The veteran actor denied to apologise and stated that Nadigar Sangam should listen to his version as well. For now, Nadigar Sangam is thinking about taking serious action against Mansoor Ali Khan.
