
Allu Ramalingaiah is one of the legends of Telugu and Indian Cinema. As a comedian, he has been part of 1000 films and had a career spanning out five decades. His son Allu Aravind became a famous producer, distributor and exhibitor.
Allu Arjun, who earned National fame with Pushpa, is grandson of Allu Ramalingaiah. Megastar Chiranjeevi is his son-in-law and Ram Charan, his grandson. Allu family has decided to open a studio in Kokapet to honor the memory of Allu Ramalingaiah, Allu Studios.
Megastar Chiranjeevi inaugurated the Studios and attended the event along with his wife, Surekha. He spoke at the event and shared memories from the association he and Allu Ramalingaiah shared. He said, ” I am glad to be a part of Allu Family and proud to remember him on his 100th birth anniversary. Not every actor get love from public for decades and have a longevity like he did. Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun and Sirish have been carrying forward the family legacy with all their heart and I am glad they are doing so much.”
He continued to say that Allu Studios should stand as a memory of a great man and wished them all the success. Allu Aravind shared that he wanted to build the studio to fulfill the dream of his father and he has been missing him more and more after his death, 18 years ago. He shared that he wants to give reins of Geetha Arts, AHA OTT platform, Allu Studios to his sons.
Allu Arjun thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for inaugurating Allu Studios and said that the family built it in memory of great actor and not with business intentions. He asked film industry to use the studio space and think of it as a tribute to great man, as he would be happy if people shoot at the studio. He thanked Mega fans and his AA Army of fans for being a continued support in his career.
