Actor and producer Manchu Vishnu has expressed strong confidence in his upcoming film Kannappa, which is set to hit theatres tomorrow. The film, a major production directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, features an impressive cast including Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and South Indian star Prabhas.
At a recent media briefing, Manchu Vishnu shared his thoughts on release plans of Kannappa. He made it clear that Kannappa will enjoy an exclusive theatrical run for at least ten weeks before it becomes available on any streaming platform.
“We want viewers to experience the film on the big screen as it was meant to be seen,” Vishnu explained. “There’s no rush to put it online. Our goal is to give audiences a full cinematic experience first.”
The film has generated buzz for its large-scale production and star-studded appearances, and the team is releasing it in multiple languages to reach a wider audience. Vishnu stated that the decision to delay the digital release was made to support the cinema-going experience and allow the film to have a longer life in theatres.
With high expectations and a wide release planned, Kannappa marks a significant moment in Vishnu’s career. The move to delay the streaming release shows a commitment to traditional film viewing and a belief in the movie’s appeal.
The film opens in cinemas nationwide tomorrow.
