‘Maestro’, which stars Nithin as a fake blind man and a pianist, will start streaming on Hotstar from September 17. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia as a villain, it is a remake of ‘Andhadhun’ (Hindi).
In his latest interview, director Merlapaka Gandhi revealed that two changes have been made to the Hindi original. In ‘Andhadhun’, the love track between Ayusshman Khurana and Radhika Apte was not important in terms of screen time. In ‘Maestro’, the love track between Nithin and Nabha Natesh will have greater space.
Also, the climax has been tweaked a bit. “We have added an emotional element for the Telugu remake,” Gandhi said.
Senior Naresh will be seen as a yesteryear actor in the movie. Tamannaah plays his wife who has an extra-marital affair.
