Fans of the film Little Hearts were recently excited by rumours that it would be available on the OTT platform ETV Win from 2 October, just four weeks after its theatrical release on 5 September. A poster circulating on social media claimed the digital release date, and many viewers assumed it was true. However, the OTT platform quickly clarified that the poster was fake.

ETV Win explained that the film is still performing very well in cinemas. Even in its third weekend, shows are nearly full, particularly over the weekend. In a playful post styled like the movie itself, the platform warned fans: “If you spread fake news like this, it will stick to your phone!”

This incident comes at a time when audiences have grown accustomed to big films arriving on streaming platforms very quickly. For instance, last month’s Coolie moved to digital just four weeks after its theatrical release. Naturally, this led fans to expect that smaller films like Little Hearts, featuring new actors, might also appear on OTT within a month.

However, ETV Win clarified that Little Hearts does not face the same urgency for a digital release. The platform was involved in the film’s production, so there is no need to rush it online. Instead, the film will complete its full theatrical run before moving to OTT, allowing audiences to enjoy it on the big screen while it is still performing strongly at the box office.

This weekend, with no major new releases, Little Hearts continues to dominate theatres. Reports indicate that Saturday and Sunday shows are almost fully booked, demonstrating the film’s popularity and appeal. Fans will have to wait a little longer for a digital release, but the wait is expected to be worthwhile, as the theatrical run continues to win hearts.

While excitement for an early streaming release is understandable, the current focus remains on the film’s success in cinemas. Little Hearts is clearly connecting with audiences, and ETV Win has reassured fans that it will eventually be available online, just not immediately.
