Leo film faced issues in Telugu states release. The telugu version of the film release has been held by Civil Court till 20th October due to a copyright dispute. A Telugu producer has gone to court has he registered the title in Telugu, already. Due to this issue, many thought Leo might face issues in release or delays. But the producers 7 Screen Studios and distributor Sithara Entertainments have reacted fast and resolved matter in time. Court has given Docket order for Leo release as planned.
The movie is set to open huge and create record for any Tamil film for opening day. Leo is expected to go beyond Rs.125-130 crores Gross on the opening day, worldwide. Already, movie has huge premiere numbers in North America. And all-over in Tamil overseas strong markets, it has gone close to Kabali. Leo hype after Vikram as a movie in LCU, is sky high. Thalapathy Vijay could be part of the LCU.
Udaynidhi Stalin has given a wink emoji stating as LCU. He has stated that the movie is great and it is a sure shot winner. Leo has suffered late opening in Tamil Nadu due to producer, distributor and exhibitor share percentage discussions. Finally, the theatres have come to an agreement with producers and distributors. Some big theatres might not open Leo but mostly all will open. Trisha Krishnan, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt are also cast in this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial and Anirudh Ravichander musical.
