Leo film is the biggest film from Tamil Cinema, releasing this October. Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj are coming together for this film after Master and Vikram. Leo has huge hype and expectations. As people are expecting it to be a big blockbuster, the pre-sale records have been huge, too. But Leo, before release, is facing issues one after another.
The movie did not have traditional music release event or pre-release event. Leo did not get permission to play early morning shows in Tamil Nadu. Also, multiplexes have decided to not give Hindi shows to the movie in North India due to 4 weeks OTT window. Now, Leo IMAX content has been delayed too. Movie lost almost US$200k in pre-sales due to this delay. Leo team seems to have planned everything in advance but few extra additions delayed them.
With these factors, Leo film has lost the huge advantage in various areas. Now, fans are hoping that Lokesh has delivered another Vikram and Vijay will be able to deliver a 400 crores blockbuster. Leo is expected to be part of LCU connecting with Vikram. Makers did not give any kind of clarification about this, yet. While Lokesh clarified that his movie with Rajinikanth won’t be part of LCU. Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Action King Arjun is releasing on 19th October. Anirudh Ravichander composed music for the film.
