Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is reportedly in discussions to star opposite Ram Charan in his upcoming Telugu film directed by Sukumar. While the news has created buzz among fans, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
Kriti has previously appeared in three Telugu films—1 Nenokkadine, Doosukeltha, and Adipurush. Unfortunately, none of these films performed as expected at the box office. This has led some Mega fans to express concerns about her being cast alongside Ram Charan, questioning the choice of a heroine whose earlier Telugu films underperformed.
Sukumar, on his part, has already completed the script work for this project and is currently focusing on pre-production. For the first time, he will take on the role of both director and producer for a Ram Charan film. Coming after the massive success of Pushpa 2, the project is expected to generate significant pan-India hype.
Ram Charan is also busy with his pan-India film Peddari, and this upcoming project is reported to be a village-based sports drama. The film will be directed by Buchibabu San, known for his work on Uppena, and is expected to meet high expectations. Shooting is reportedly progressing at a fast pace.
The collaboration between Sukumar and Ram Charan is eagerly anticipated, and fans are already excited about the combination. The latest update suggests that the filmmakers are considering a Bollywood actress for the female lead, with Kriti Sanon emerging as the preferred choice. This would mark Ram Charan’s 17th film, further adding to the excitement surrounding the project.
While fans await official confirmation, the pairing of Ram Charan and Kriti Sanon under Sukumar’s direction promises to be one of the most talked-about films in Telugu cinema this year.
