Kohrra Analaysis:
Barun Sobti and Suvinder Vicky deliver very captivating performances carrying this web-series on their shoulders. Kohrra being a simple murder mystery, the performances needed to be engrossing. As the pace is slow, it takes these performances to entice audiences into the proceedings. Also, the mystery as it unfolds gets us deeply engrossed into the subject the writers wanted to state. With each episode, the series draws us into the story and mystery. As it grows on us, we are compelled to binge watch it. Kohrra dwells into culture of Punjab and recent mindset of Punjabi youth. The combination of mystery and cultural study makes it an easy case-study into Punjab. Yet it doesn’t try to portray the state in a bad manner or good manner. It tries to be reflective and for a series, it works brilliantly.

The attitude of cops and changing dynamics of the case holds true to the mystery. While trying to divulge into the uncharted territory and unexplored underbelly of Punjab, Kohrra doesn’t try to push any agenda. It keeps things under balance and gives us a clear-cut well-defined characters to follow. The series could have been more evenly paced as the slow-burn nature does sometimes overbears the mystery. Still, the engrossing narrative keeps us hooked and delivers on all fronts at key moments. Kohrra is a good watch and delivers more than we anticipate.
Kohrra Positives:

Simple and effective narrative
Packs a Solid Punch
Captivating writing
Kohrra Negatives:

Takes time to deliver
Kohrra Bottom-line: Highly Captivating!
