And the most attention on this Tollywood project was because, this film was supposed to mark the acting debut of ace music composer and singer Devi sri prasad. Initially, after Keerthy Suresh was roped in, the makers were considering either Nani or Nithin for the lead role. But later, there were many alterations in the script that has bought Devi sri prasad on board. According to the sources, As soon as the makers have finalized the lead actor to be Devi sri prasad, Keerthy suresh politely declined the project stating that this new pairing might not work for the film.

Earlier, Keerthy Suresh was showing interest in the script and wanted to be a part of it due to the strong storyline. Fans also speculate that, since Keerthy suresh is already an established actress who won the national award and also worked with many stars like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Dulquer Salmaan, Nani and Nithin etc, She might have backed from the project due to a debut actor. Few others also think that, since she doesn’t have hit films recently, she doesn’t want to take the risk now with a debutant actor.
