Rising actress Kayadu Lohar is making waves in South Indian cinema with a string of exciting projects lined up. She has landed the heroine role in the Telugu film Funky, starring Vishwak Sen, which is scheduled for release on 14 November 2025.

In Malayalam cinema, Kayadu will be seen in Tharam, directed by Vinay Govindu, set to hit theatres on 16 December 2025. She is also part of the Tamil film Immortal, featuring music by the acclaimed composer GV Prakash, which is planned for release in November. Additionally, she plays a key role in the Malayalam movie Pallichattambi, starring Tovino Thomas.

Kayadu’s growing portfolio also includes upcoming projects with major stars. She is set to appear in the Telugu film The Paradise with Nani and Srikant Odela, as well as a new collaboration with Vishal and Sundar C.

The actress first gained attention in Telugu cinema with the release of the dubbed version of the Malayalam film Pathonpatham Noottandu, titled Puli: The 19th Century, on 24 February 2023. Later that year, she appeared in Alluri and went on to achieve overnight stardom with the film Dragon.

Born on 11 April 2000 in Tezpur, Assam, Kayadu now lives in Pune, where she completed her graduation in commerce. Before entering the film industry, she began her career as a model and made her acting debut in 2021 with the Kannada film Mogilipete.

The actress recently celebrated Diwali in style, sharing photographs of herself in a striking red lehenga. The images quickly went viral on social media, with fans showering love and admiration through heart and fire emojis. Her festive look was praised for capturing both glamour and elegance, reflecting her growing popularity.
