The recently released mythological film Kannappa continues to gain positive responses from audiences. A special screening of Kannappa was held in Vijayawada, organised by renowned ghazal singer and Save Temples Bharat president, Ghazal Srinivas.
Speaking after the screening, veteran actor and producer Mohan Babu expressed his happiness at the reception the film is receiving across the country. “The response to Kannappa has been overwhelming everywhere,” he said. “People are especially appreciating Vishnu’s performance. Today’s special screening was organised by my brother Ghazal Srinivas, and I was honoured to watch the film again, this time with sages, yoginis, aghoris, and spiritual leaders. It was a divine experience.”
Ghazal Srinivas, who hosted the Vijayawada screening, also shared his appreciation for the Kannappa. “Bringing Kannappa back to the big screen is a wonderful decision. The film is visually rich and spiritually powerful. Vishnu’s performance was a treat to watch, and Mohan Babu garu deserves heartfelt thanks for producing such a powerful film. From start to finish, Kannappa keeps the audience captivated. It is a complete devotional drama, filled with emotion and grandeur,” he said.
The film features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Sharath Kumar, and Manchu Vishnu. The presence of such legendary actors has helped bring the story of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, to life in a compelling and emotional way.
