Popular Telugu actress Kamna Jethmalani is all set to make her big-screen comeback with the upcoming film K-Ramp, which is slated for a worldwide release this Diwali. After stepping away from films following her marriage and children, the actress is returning to entertain audiences after nearly a decade.

Kamna was last seen in the bilingual Telugu–Kannada film Chandrika. Since then, she hasn’t appeared in any films — not even in a cameo role. However, fans did get a glimpse of her talent in the web series Vyavastha, which premiered on ZEE5 two years ago. Now, she is officially making her silver screen re-entry through K-Ramp, a romantic comedy entertainer.

The film is directed by Jains Nani and produced by Rajesh Danda and Shiva Bommak under the banners of Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloids. Actress Yukti Thareja will play the female lead, while young Tollywood actor Kiran Abbavaram stars in the lead role. Although Kamna’s role in the film has not been revealed yet, the recently released trailer has sparked buzz. In it, senior actor Naresh (Telugu actor) is seen following Kamna’s character, creating curiosity about her part in the story.

Kamna started her acting career with the Telugu film Premikulu and later made her Kollywood debut with Idhaya Thirudan. She gained massive popularity with Ranam, opposite Tollywood star Tottempudi Gopichand. Her performance earned praise and made her one of the most loved faces in the industry during the 2000s.

She now joins the list of popular senior heroines — including Genelia D’Souza, Laya, Anita Hassanandani and Anshu Ambani — who have returned to cinema for their second innings. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Kamna back on the big screen and curious to know what kind of role she will be playing this time.

K-Ramp is set to hit theatres on 17 October, promising a perfect festive treat for movie lovers.
