Actor Jr NTR is set to return to the mythological genre in a new film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. This exciting project is making waves on social media after producer Naga Vamsi revealed key details in a recent interview.
Jr NTR, who began his career as Lord Rama in Bala Ramayanam, will now play Lord Murugan. He has been spotted recently holding books about Murugan, showing his dedication to the role. The film will mark director Trivikram’s first attempt at a mythological story.
Naga Vamsi said that just as senior NTR played roles like Rama and Krishna in the past, now Jr NTR will be seen in a similar divine avatar. The announcement video for the film is currently in the works.
He added that the team is not rushing the process. They aim to create a grand project with high standards, even bigger than Bollywood’s upcoming Ramayana.
Pre-production is underway, and filming is expected to start in the second half of 2026. Before this, Trivikram will begin another film with Venkatesh next month, which is planned for a summer 2026 release.
Though fans are eager to know the release date of the Jr NTR project, the team has not confirmed it yet. Many believe the heavy use of CGI and VFX might lead to a longer production time.
The combination of Jr NTR and Trivikram has already created a buzz, and fans are eagerly waiting for more updates.
