Jawan is the new film from Shah Rukh Khan, who is renowned as SRK by his fans, in the direction of Atlee Kumar. Young director from Tamil Film Industry has delivered blockbusters with Thalapathy Vijay. SRK has decided to enter into South Indian Markets with Jawan. After careful deliberation, he has decided to work with Atlee and make a epic action blockbuster film. Atlee has been profoundly known as one of the best commercial directors of this generation. Jawan team has now released trailer from the film.
SRK took a break from films after Zero failure. He has decided to give himself a complete image makeover from being a romantic actor to mass commercial hero. Pathaan has become huge blockbuster for the actor after his comeback. Now, Jawan is his next throw of the dice to continue delivering such huge mass commercial blockbusters. While majority of Bollywood actors have been relying on remaking South Indian films, SRK has decided to act in an original from South Indian director. Atlee took his learnings from his South Indian masala origins to Hindi with Jawan.
The trailer is about simple revenge but it has many more threads connected to it. Atlee has a way of getting “inspired” or “re-using” ideas from world cinema and old cinema and presenting them in his own style. Jawan trailer, also clearly showcases that Atlee took inspirations before delivering this film. It seems to be packed with everything people wish to watch from a big star film. SRK will be seen in to roles and he has different shades to portray as well. Jawan marks the debut of Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in full-length Bollywood film along with composer Anirudh Ravichander.
The trailer showcases that the filmmakers are relying on stardom of SRK to deliver the content. Atlee has been able to deliver big hits by creating sequences that support Thalapathy Vijay stardom in Tamil. We have to wait and see with Jawan, how he used SRK in various get-ups and different shades. Jawan is releasing on 7th September and makers have planned to have big trailer showcase on Burj Khalifa tower like Pathaan.
