Jawan is the new action epic movie from Shah Rukh Khan. Through Pathaan, he has announced his come back in a huge way. Pathaan has become highest grosser for any Hindi film in its original language. The movie has crossed Rs.1050 crores, worldwide and now, Jawan is set to break Pathaan pre-sales records. Pathaan has sold 5.56 lakhs tickets in advance only in National Multiplex Chains, PIC. Well, Jawan is set to break it big time.
Shah Rukh Khan has faced tough times before Pathaan with several movies clashing with his films and them failing to generate buzz. Pathaan has broken that trend and a 4 year gap has helped him in bringing his fans and general audiences to theatres. Now, with Jawan he has planned a complete action entertainer as a wholesome package. With Atlee Kumar directing the film, Shah Rukh Khan wants to enter into South Indian language markets big time. Jawan openings or pre-sales state that his plan is working big time.
Jawan opened to a thunderous response and it has already sold more than 4 Lakhs tickets for first weekend at PVR INOX chains, nation-wide. In Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the bookings in interiors have also been huge. While traditionally cities like Hyderabad, Vizag are strong holds for Bollywood and SRK films, Jawan has penetrated into new towns as well. The trailer and prevue teaser have created enough buzz for the film. Nayanthara, Anirudh Ravichander, Vijay Sethupathi and Atlee Kumar are debuting in Hindi with this film. Jawan is set to release on 7th September, worldwide.
