The Rs 215 crore money laundering case involving financial criminal Sukesh Chandrasekhar has taken a crucial turn. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is accused in this case, is ready to become an approver. Shee requested the Delhi court to allow this. However, the court directed the actress to first approach the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for this.
According to the rules, in such cases, the investigating agency must first be requested to become an approver. After recording her statement, the investigating agency will decide whether to apply to the court to become a witness or not. It is known that last year, the Supreme Court rejected Jacqueline’s petition to strike out the ED case against her in connection with this money laundering case. It is in this order that she prepares to become an approver as a fresher.
It is known that the ED considered Jacqueline as an accused in the extortion case of Rs.215 crore in which financial criminal Sukesh Chandrashekar is the main accused. ED sources had earlier revealed that the investigation found that the actress had benefited from the looted money. Sources said that Jacqueline already knew that Sukesh was a rapist, but still continued to be intimate with him. In this order, the photos of both of them together became viral on social media at that time.
Earlier, there were reports that Jacqueline received expensive gifts from Sukesh. ED’s investigation found that Jacqueline and Sukesh had given gifts worth around Rs 10 crore to the most expensive designer bags, gym suits, diamond earrings, bracelets, mini Cooper, etc. Meanwhile, the actress, who has denied these allegations several times, first approached the Delhi High Court to quash the ED case registered against her. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court after the High Court rejected it. The Supreme Court, which examined this, refused to interfere with the orders given by the Delhi High Court. Despite this, it is known that Sukesh claims that Jacqueline is his girlfriend. It is noteworthy that he sent love messages to the actress from jail on her birthday and on special occasions.
