Fubar is an Enlgish Web-series starring Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead. He has been taking a break from movies or series. Fubar team approached him with the concept and he agreed to be part of the series. With Netflix in the play, they could bring in more stars into the mix. Fubar started streaming on 25th May, 2023 on the streaming platform. Let’s discuss about it.
Fubar is a story about father and daughter lying to each other about them being CIA operatives. This leads to misunderstandings and each other unknowingly sabotaging another’s mission. You have to watch the series to know how they land in trouble each time while someone of the both wants to mend the ways. Fubar explores the comedy parts really well. The action could have been better but the comic action works for most parts.
Thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger charm that he is able to produce arresting performance in what could be easily a bad attempt. He keeps Fubar together like a glue. His performance holds key with Monica Barbaro and Milan Carter adding to the dynamics. The ensemble produces some of the memorable funny moments as we go deep into the 8 episodes series. While the writing at times seem a little flat, it keeps spewing some surprises time to time, to keep us hooked. Flaws in the Fubar doesn’t damage the overall enjoyable factor.

Fubar Positives:
Performances
Comic sequences
Few action parts
Fubar Negatives:
Some nod backs don’t work
Few episodes tend to be slow
Story could be better in few
Fubar Bottom-line: Watchable Dad-Daughter Comedy
