Director Shankar has become the biggest commercial film director of South Indian Cinema. He made continuous blockbusters till I and 2.0. Both of them have been made with huge budgets and 2.0, became a commercial failure. Director Shankar has announced Indian 2 immediately after 2.0 and Kamal Haasan appeared highly excited. Due to some issues, Indian 2 production had been postponed and he started Game Changer with Ram Charan. Shankar has put a full stop to rumors about his negligence towards film, on 10th October.
Recently, several rumors have come out that the director is neglecting the film. Ram Charan after RRR has accepted this film to work with mastercraftsman Shankar. But Indian 2 shoot had to be commenced simultaneously with Game Changer. Lyca Productions had demanded Shankar to complete thier film and then go for his next films. Hence, he came up with a solution and started shooting both at his own pace. Now, several rumors have come out that he started neglecting Game Changer, in favour of his Indian 2.
Adding fuel, Lyca Productions announcement about Indian 2 dubbing sessions also made these claims stronger. Reports stated that Shankar is only directing the film during Indian 2 lunch breaks. Well, the director needed to clarify all this baseless rumors. Shankar clarified rumors by wiritng he has been shooting for Game Changer in Hyderabad from yesterday. Well, this update states clearly that Shankar is working on Game Changer from 9th October. He could have started dubbing of Indian 2 few days ago. Also, Indian 2 shoot has been completed as Shankar doesn’t go for dubbing works without completing shooting that too, with Kamal Haasan. The reporting has become very vile in trying to bring down Ram Charan and decrease hype on Game Changer say his fans. We cannot be sure about that.
All we can say is Shankar is a great director and he has to be given his own time to carve out his films. Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Sunil are playing important roles in the film. SS Thaman is scoring music and Dil Raju is producing it.
