Dhurandhar Fame Ayesha Khanna On Alia Bhatt Trolls Post Cannes 2026

Ayesha Khanna On Alia Bhatt Trolls: Actor Ayesha Khan stepped in fast, like really fast, to support Alia Bhatt after the Bollywood star got hit with heavy trolling about her Cannes 2026 red carpet moment.

The whole mess started when some viral clips from the film festival surfaced online. In those videos, it was alleged that photographers and international media seemed a bit less engaged, while Alia was doing her thing, posing waving smiling. The standard red carpet vibe. And then, social media really took off with mockery, causing a huge debate online.

Ayesha Khanna On Alia Bhatt Trolls

Alia Bhatt attended the Cannes Film Festival 2026 as a global ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, and during the event she wore multiple high-fashion looks. But then a set of clips made the rounds. They claimed some photographers were more focused on other celebrities, while Alia kept showing up on the red carpet – smiles in place, poses set. That’s when trolls started questioning her “international popularity”, and why she was supposedly not being treated like other big names there.

Still, many fans ended up praising her outfits and the way she represented India on a global stage, even with all the noise.

Ayesha Khan Hits Back At ‘Unnecessary Hate’ and said, ”The unnecessary hate this woman gets is insane, she breathes and people have a problem, she is THE ALIA BHATT! A phenomenal actor, the same person who was Vaidehi in Badrinath ki dulhania and also sehmat in Raazi, She is a mother, an actor, an entrepreneur, is creatively involved in her own production house and what not!”

She further added, “She has given us so many incredible performances, and here people of our own country want to drag their representation just because a few media people couldn’t recognise her? And how does that even matter? She is there to represent us not them! We can definitely do better!”

‘She Is There To Represent Us’

Ayesha didn’t stop there. She questioned why people were mocking an Indian actor who is actually representing the country internationally, and not just there for attention.

According to reports, she wrote that Alia was at Cannes “to represent us, not them,” and then urged people to support Indian celebrities instead of tearing them down online. Her words spread quickly, and a lot of users seemed to agree that the trolling had crossed a line.

Alia Bhatt’s Reply To A Troll Went Viral

During the backlash, Alia Bhatt herself responded to a troll on Instagram. It was calm, but also sharp. When a user wrote, “What a pity, no one noticed you,” Alia came back with, “Why pity love? You noticed me :).” That reply then went viral almost instantly, with fans applauding the way she handled the whole situation with grace and control.

Other Celebrities Also Backed Alia Bhatt

Ayesha Khan wasn’t the only one defending Alia. Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya also spoke up against the online hate that followed the Cannes clips. And even now, Alia’s Cannes 2026 presence keeps making headlines, with her fashion choices and public moments continuing to dominate entertainment talk online.
