Singham film turned around Rohit Shetty’s career from being a comedy film director to an action filmmaker. He wanted to continue making such films but he is making one comedy entertainer and one action film. Singham film has Ajay Devgn coming into full fledged action avatar as a no non-sense cop. Rohit Shetty turned Singham also into a franchise like his Golmaal films. Singham Returns became a hit at the box office.
Now, Singham Again has been announced as his third film in the franchise. Before this movie, Rohit Shetty has turned the character based cop films into a cop universe with Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. In the third installment of Singham, Deepika Padukone will join the cast as a lady cop. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh could also do cameos like Ajay Devgn as Singham in Simmba and him, Ranveer Singh in Sooryavanshi.
There is a talk that after Deepika Padukone joins the cast as lady cop and also Salman Khan could join as another cop too. Singham movies will be big joining force for all Rohit Shetty cop universe films. There could be another leading lady joining as lady cop too but that will be announced later. Singham Again shooting will start from April, 2023. Rohit Shetty is coming up with Cirkus, a comedy entertainer with Ranveer Singh in dual role. Deepika Padukone has done a special appearance in the film.
