Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara are currently shooting a romantic song in Kerala’s scenic Alleppey, Alappuzha district for their upcoming film, directed by popular filmmaker Anil Ravipudi. The location, known as Alleppey, was carefully chosen by the director for its beauty and how well it fits the mood of the story. The romantic number is being shot near the famous lighthouse, a well-known tourist spot that attracts thousands of visitors every day.
After the huge success of Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Ravipudi is working with Chiranjeevi for the first time, and expectations are sky-high. Though the film is not a pan-India release, it is expected to earn hundreds of crores due to Ravipudi’s strong record of delivering blockbuster hits. The team has already completed two major shooting schedules and is now filming in Kerala before moving to Hyderabad.
The Alleppey, Kerala, song, which features romantic choreography of Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, is expected to be completed within a week. After that, the crew will return to Hyderabad to film key scenes. Reports suggest that more than half of the film will be finished by the end of this schedule. The director is aiming to complete the entire shoot by the end of October.
The film may release in November or December, with a strong possibility of a Sankranthi 2026 release. Several titles are being considered, and a teaser along with the official title announcement is likely to be released next month on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. A promo of the Kerala song is also expected soon.
Actor Venkatesh will appear in a special guest role, and music is being composed by Bheems. The film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, adding more excitement to what could be another big hit for Tollywood.
