Bade Miyan Chote Miyan movie is the new action entertainer starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie is being directed by Abbas Ali Zafar who delivered big blockbusters like Tiger Zinda Hain, Sultan. He made Bharat with Salman Khan but the movie did not become a box office hit.
Now, he is hoping to deliver a much required big blockbuster for him and Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff. Both the leading men have delivered huge disasters in 2023 and Akshay Kumar has been on a huge slide with his films not even opening to double digits on the opening day. He needs Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to deliver big time.
The title has been borrowed from a comedy starring Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda in late 90’s. The comedy directed by in-form David Dhawan did end up being an average grosser but the music from the film has been a huge chartbuster. Mainly, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan title track has fans still hearing to it.
Now, the new film team have remixed it and released the new track on 19th February. Akshay Kumar has been on to this bandwagon of remixing his old and other big hits from 90’s that worked 6-7 years ago for Bollywood films. The track has been receiving flack from the listeners for butchering the original and it is not inspiring great buzz towards the film, as the makers anticipated.
The movie is scheduled to release on 09th April 2024, worldwide. Let’s wait for the trailer and see.
