ANR – Akkineni Nageswara Rao, has established himself as legend of Indian Cinema. He worked in films till his last breath, as per wish. His family produced a beautiful classic like Manam, as his last film in 2014. After finishing his dubbing, ANR passed away in 2014, before movie release. His family has been celebrating him, ever since, at every possible occasion. Now, they have unveiled ANR statue at Annapurna Studios.

The legendary actor has built the studio in Hyderabad, way back in 1970’s with his life savings. ANR built it brick by brick and it has become a world standard facility for Telugu Cinema in Hyderabad. His family has been taking care of the studio and they have even constructed Film School in the studio. On the occasion of 100th birthday of ANR, they have unveiled statue in the studio. ANR family has invited every known person from the Telugu Film Industry for this event.

Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli, Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam, Nasser have been special attraction in the event. Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil have invited the guests and took care of them in the event. Ex-Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has arrived as chief guest for the ANR Centenary event. He unveiled the statue and Nagarjuna, Venkat have assisted him. The entire event has been live telecasted on Annapurna Studios YouTube channel. Today, remembering the great man, we say, Long Live ANR and ANR lives on!
