Analysis::

Ajay Devgn has been a trusted actor ever since his debut and he managed to give this regular, predictable plot some style. He tried to put his best step forth but he appeared to have been asked to handle too much with not much substance at offer for him to work with. Siddharth Malhotra proved his acting abilities in Shershaah but he seemed to have sleep-walked here. He did not manage to play to his strength, even though the character suits him. Rakul Preet Singh did not have much to do and she looked pretty. All others looked confused to do anything.

Movie tries to tell an age-old formulaic plot about how a self-centred person needs to learn about thinking from others’ perspective as well. The person should learn about respecting parents, partner and everyone around him. Writing in this movie is too dull and predictable. Even though run-time is tight, movie feels like a drag all through. None of the other crafts have worked to their strength too. You may watch it when it comes on OTT platforms.

Positives:
Climax portions
Ajay Devgn scenes
Few one-liners

Negatives::
Underwhelming VFX
Dull Scenes
Predictable Screenplay
Too slow in second hour

Bottom line: Can’t Thank God!
