Adivi Sesh’s latest film Dacoit: A Love story has become a surprise box office success with numbers. This film has recovered its investment in the first three days itself. Featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, this action thriller is completely driven by ‘love’ factor. Day 1 Box Office Collection of Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit is around Rs 6.50 Cr across 3,800 shows on Day 1 in India.
Dacoit was made with the budget of Rs. 65 crore and the film had previously earned Rs. 48 crore through digital, satellite, and audio rights even before the official release of the film in big screens. Now, it needed only Rs. 17 crore from its theatrical run to attain break even.
Dacoit has grossed nearly Rs. 40 crore worldwide on its opening weekend, and the makers of Dacoit have entered profits now.
Dacoit revolves around the story of a man who is convicted for a crime he didn’t commit owing to a betrayal by his partner. He hunts her down seeking revenge, as their stories intertwine with a series of robberies.
