Fusion is confusion, say chefs who believe in the magic of authenticity in food. But fusion is also evolution, adaptation and experiment and sometimes the results can be pleasing too. But most of the time it may end up in total disappointment. Now let us look to some weird food recipes that many may or may not like it:-
Now a common fixture in the menu of most Pan-Asian restaurants, Chocolate Dimsum is anything but pleasing to the palate. A soft gooey exterior with a molten, runny filling, bordering on being sticky and tasteless, the magic of warm, comforting momos served with a zingy chutney quite gets lost in the chocolate version. No! we don’t want it, please!
A jalebi is pure joy. It is a piece of happiness served on a plate that is not just a scientifically proven mood lifter but also a sweet with such a deep cultural and psychological influence that it is looked upon as a cure to an upset stomach, a bad cough, and definitely a broken heart. And when something as sacrosanct as a jalebi has a doppelganger made with pineapple, we are not ready to accept it. How can a batter-fried pineapple slice be called a jalebi?
Yuck is the word for this weird dish which has become quite a fixture in wedding menus these days. In no way can then Indian-style suji or atta golgappa puri compliment the chocolate and nuts that are served with it. It is actually quite hurtful for Golgappa fans to see their Favourite dish being maligned like this.
4.Ice cream Soda:-
We have a divided opinion on this. A hit in the 90s, we still have it around, which means it does have a following. But instead of slurping down creamy ice cream floating over watery soda and wondering about its bewildering taste, we would prefer them separately.
No way! It is high time broccoli fans realize their boundaries. As if sneaking it in soup and pizza was not enough, now it is stealing away the magic of our cup of joy too! Whatever the benefit it may bring with it, we don’t want a coffee that has anything to do with broccoli!
Strawberry, pineapple, banana look good on trees and not on our ultimate comfort food, the slice of joy from our dreams-the cheesy, fluffy pizza. A fruit pizza is a sham and should be totally banned.
