Biologists around the world have been looking to find permanent cure for Covid-19 virus as new variants have been developing with each passing day. Virologists have been trying to find a perfect cure and vaccination that will drive Covid-19 virus will be completely erased from the face of the earth. Indians have been taking the virus lightly as our daily lives cannot be allowed to be affected by the virus any longer. Delta wave or second wave has been terrifying in India but then, people tried to brave it rather than succumb to it. But scientists are advising more caution as new symptoms have been identified among people.

 Loss of sense of taste and smell is no more a common sign for COVID-19. During this year, in a survey of patients in the United Kingdom found that the loss of taste and smell were no longer the major symptoms of COVID-19.And other symptoms like high fever, shortness of breathe, and loss of taste have not been more prominent with the Omicron compared to delta variants. According to Zoe Health Study, the more pertinent current symptoms of COVID-19 are sore throat, runny nose; nasal congestion, persistent cough and headache are the current symptoms.

 The COVID-19 symptoms will differ depending on vaccination status. Those who are fully vaccinated might have sore throat, runny nose, blocked nose and headache while others still seem to have high fever, shortness of breathe and weakness. Well, as the winter is here, take good care about hydration, hygiene and wear masks, maintain social distancing too.
