ISRO has been pioneering Indian advancement in Space Sciences from long time. Now, they have announced a successful launch of GSLV-F12 rocket. The rocket is carrying NVS-01 satellite into its orbit. ISRO has announced that GSLV-F12 has successfully injected NVS-01 into the orbit. They have been congratulated by many for this accomplishment. ISRO needed this Satellite launch to be successful for future purposes.
ISRO giving update about the mission, wrote, “After a flight of about 19 minutes, the NVS-O1 satellite was injected precisely into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. Subsequent orbit-raising manoeuvres will take NVS-01 into the intended Geosynchronous orbit.” NVS-01 is designed by scientists to help Navigation trackers. ISRO has stated that NVS-01 will be working for 12 years and in India it will track 1500 Kms.

The satellite has Rubidium Atomic Clock. This clock helps the navigation to be even more precise and perfect. Navigation Satellite is adjoined with GPS and this will increase the accuracy. ISRO has developed Rubidium atomic clock and manufactured it in India. With this India has become one of the countries that can use Rubidium atomic clock. ISRO is planning to launch many more such NVS group satellites to improve navigation services in the country.
