Pashupatinath Temple is known as one of the oldest and greatest piligrimages of Lord Shiva. People who are devotionally inclined look to visit this temple at least once in their lifetime. Pashupatinath Temple is also known for being most divine abode of Lord Shiva after Kashi. In this temple, Lord Shiva shrine has a mustache and this is the only temple to have such a shrine. Pashupatinath Temple records huge amount of crowd after Kedarnath temple among Lord Shiva temples, keeping Kashi aside.
Now, an important report as surfaced. More than 10 Kilograms of gold has been found missing from Jalahari that Temple has ordered. Pashupatinath Temple has ordered 103 Kilograms gold Jalahari for Pashupatinath during Mahasivaratri festive time for decoration. Now, the reports suggest 10 Kilograms of gold is missing from the Jalahari. This is huge theft from any piligrimage and Pashupatinath Temple has took headlines in Nepal.

Nepal Parliament has also raised questions about the security of the temple. Government has given the case to NIAA. The department took over Pashupatinath Temple and are investigating to find the thieves or conlcude where corruption took place. NIAA is investigating into quality of Jalahari and also maintenance of temple. Pasupathinath Temple is not closed for devotees due to this investigation but retrictions have been place. Well, we hope officials will quickly find the thieves.
