Chandrayaan-3 mission is one of the most expensive and ambitious space missions of India. ISRO has been wishing to do a soft landing on Moon from years. They have launched Chandrayaan series of missions with an objective to study availability of water on Moon. Also, ISRO Chandrayaan-3 mission will search life possible conditions on South Pole of Moon. First mission of Chandrayaan found traces of water near South Pole of Moon. Now, Chandrayaan-3 will install a rover on Moon near South Pole to examine terrain and soil.
Entire nation of 140 crore Indians have waited with beated breath to see Chandrayaan-3 be successful. After an emotional failure like Chandrayaan-2, Indians wanted this mission to be successful. ISRO has designed Chandrayaan-2 to land softly on Moon in a tough terrain and study about availability of water. As it failed, they have made the same Chandrayaan-3 objectives. Before entire Nation, ISRO has announced that Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on Moon.

From South Africa, Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed live the event of Vikram Lander, successfully completing soft landing on Moon. Russia tried to land near South Pole before India. They failed as their lander collapsed into Moon surface. China has successfully landed their Chang’e 4 spacecraft on the far side of the Moon in 2019. In the same year, ISRO wanted to land Chandrayaan-2 at the South Pole of Moon. They failed in their objective as lander crashed in the final moments. While scientists designed same path, they took extra care in adding landing cameras and writing alogorithms for Chandrayaan-3 success. For 4 years, without giving any chance to failure, Chandrayaan-3 mission scientists have worked hard to develop technology in the budget to achieve this feat. ISRO has made India proud today, once again!
