Chandrayaan-3 is one of the most prestigious missions of Indian Space Agency, ISRO. The space agency wanted to launch Chandrayaan series to explore water availability on Moon. With Chandrayaan-1, they have targeted South Pole and proved ice caps are located in the area. Now, with Chandrayaan-3, they have successfully landed near South Pole of Moon. ISRO succeeded with same technology they have developed for Chandrayaan-2 after Vikram lander failed to land softly. Chandrayaan-3 has released Rover on the surface of Moon, too.
Now, Chandrayaan-3 has announced success of the mission objectives and progress. On social media, ISRO has created seperate account for Chandrayaan-3. They have announced,
“Of the 3 mission objectives;
-Demonstration of a Safe and Soft Landing on the Lunar Surface is accomplished.
-Demonstration of Rover roving on the moon is accomplished
-Conducting in-situ scientific experiments is underway. All payloads are performing normally.”

The rover will collect sand samples on Moon surface. Chandrayaan-3 is progressing as anticipated and it is giving good results as well. ISRO scientists are happy with the progress. They have already announced their Chandrayaan-4 with Japanese collaboration. The mission could be launched in 2026. Now, ISRO is concentrating on making Aditya L-1 mission a big success. Chandrayaan-3 success has really put Indian intelligence and scientific advancements on global map.
