Around festival time, we tend to forget dieting and friends, family, at times we ourselves stuff with the snacks and delicacies, not healthy. So, for healthy detox, let’s look at Ayurveda this Diwali season.

During Diwali everyone loves eating good foods and don’t care about their health. For healthy immune system it is necessary to adopt a healthy life style for 7-15 days in Ayurveda. It is called as Panchakarma which means detoxification of our body which helps to remove toxins from the body post Diwali.

Eat food on time, but never skip any of your meals. If you are not hungry have light meals. Have a gap of 4-6 hours between each meals you are not much hungry have nuts, fruits, vegetable juices which will make sure that you metabolism works well. But make sure that you don’t eat any foods which are cold, frozen, half-cooked or deep fried foods.

You can eat 1-2 Amla which is rich source of Vitamin-c and can detoxify your body soon. You can drink Ayurvedic herbal tea with is made of spices and herbs. Doing yoga this time helps in detoxification of the body. Don’t forget that food, exercise and sleep are the main pillars of being healthy.
