Russia discovers new drug to conquer human death. Developing an anti-aging drug. Scientists are working to fulfill Russian President Putin’s dream. Speaking at the AI conference held in November last year, Putin said that humans can live up to 150 years. Now Russian Minister Denis Sekirinsky has said that his country’s scientists are developing the world’s first gene therapy drug to delay death.
This drug inhibits RAGE, a gene that causes cell aging. Due to the functioning of this gene, humans are prone to aging. Preventing it can prolong youth, says Sekirinsky. RAGE stands for Receptor for Advanced Glycation Endproducts. It is a receptor that triggers the aging process in cells. By blocking this receptor through gene therapy, Russian scientists have been able to make cells look younger for longer. This magic drug is being developed at the Institute of Biology of Aging and Medicine.
Rumor has it that 73-year-old Putin spoke to Chinese President Xi Jinping about his longevity. Putin has long wanted to increase his austerity. It is rumored that he intends to hand over power to his eldest daughter or to his son, 11-year-old Ivan Spirodonov, after a long reign. Ivan will be 35 by 2025. After that, they are looking to contest for the presidency of Russia. However, these anti-aging drugs are still in the experimental stage.
