President of Iran dies in a Helicopter crash

President of Iran, Ebarahim Raisi and Finance Minister of Iran have been found dead in a helicopter crash. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has announced First vice-president of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber, as caretaker or interim president in Raisi’s sudden absence. Before new leader would be elected through election in next 50 days, Mokhber would be taking care of the governance.

Iran President and Finance Minister have decided to fly in Bell Helicopter and it crashed on Monday, after hours it flew due to fog. As this news spread over the world, many world leaders, including, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed their condolences to Iranian public and government.

In Tehran, capital of Iran, offices and schools have been open as usual on Monday. The news has come out has a sudden surprise to entire nation. Later in the day, hundreds of mourners crowded into downtown Vali-e-Asr square holding posters of Raisi and waving Palestinian flags. Some men clutched prayers beads and were visibly crying.

But Iran government did not offer any reason for crash and did not accuse any nation about an attempt at sabotage. Internationally, accusations have been aplenty that Israel could be behind this sudden helicopter crash. As Iran been openly supporting Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group, these accusations have found some solid ground. Iranian government did not make any official announcement regarding these accusations.
