TFJA, Phoenix Foundation & Shankar Eye Hospital’s Free Eye Screening Camp Garners Enthusiastic Response

On Saturday, April 26, the Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA), in collaboration with Phoenix Foundation and Shankar Eye Hospital, hosted a health camp at the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad. The initiative offered free eye-screening tests exclusively for film journalists and their families.
The event was graced by renowned actor Priyadarshi, esteemed producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, Phoenix Group Director Avinash Chukkapalli, and Shankar Eye Hospital Unit Head Vishwa Mohan as chief guests.
Priyadarshi and Naga Vamsi officially launched the camp with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp by Avinash Chukkapalli, Vishwa Mohan, TFJA President Lakshmi Narayana, Vice President Raghu, and General Secretary YJ Rambabu.

Priyadarshi participated in the eye screening, with doctors confirming his vision was in excellent condition. Addressing the gathering, he expressed, “It’s a privilege to be part of this commendable health camp organized by TFJA at the Telugu Film Chamber. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Avinash Chukkapalli of Phoenix Foundation, Vishwa Mohan of Shankar Eye Hospital, and the TFJA leadership for prioritizing journalists’ well-being. Health should always come first.” The camp, held from morning to afternoon, saw an impressive turnout, with over 100 journalists and their family members availing the free eye tests. The event received widespread appreciation and an overwhelming response from all attendees.
