The highly anticipated bilingual film #Suriya46, Sithara Entertainments’ Production No. 33, was launched with a lavish pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, signaling the start of an ambitious cinematic journey. Helmed by director Venky Atluri and led by Suriya, this Tamil-Telugu project has already generated immense buzz across both industries.
Venky Atluri, celebrated for his emotionally rich yet commercially successful films like Sir/Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, is known for crafting stories that resonate deeply with audiences. Teaming up with Suriya, a versatile actor beloved by Telugu audiences since Ghajini, Atluri is set to deliver a compelling narrative that blends his signature storytelling with Suriya’s dynamic screen presence.
The film marks Suriya’s return to a full-fledged bilingual format, promising a captivating experience for Tamil and Telugu viewers. Joining him is Premalu star Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, alongside Raveena Tandon, making a notable comeback to Telugu cinema, and Radhika Sarathkumar in a pivotal role.
The project boasts a stellar technical crew, including cinematographer Nimish Ravi, National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Banglan. Music composer GV Prakash Kumar, who previously collaborated with Atluri on Vaathi/Sir and Lucky Baskhar, is set to create another chart-topping soundtrack. The film is produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, renowned for their high-quality productions.
Principal photography is slated to begin by late May 2025, with a targeted release in Summer 2026.
